A few years ago, my church gave us a homework assignment. For an entire month, we were to read a chapter of the book of Luke every day. As a person of “faith”, I’m constantly hit with the reminder that I spend so precious little time investing in the understanding of my faith. And I thought… well, what if I just read it like a voiceover?

I have no idea how this will go, or if I’m being some sort of weirdo by putting my voice to scripture, but I promise you… it’s not my intention. It’s just a nudge to myself to get in there and experience this book of wisdom that I claim to base my life around. If someone else gets something from it… if my journey made your commute or your time on the treadmill worth a little reflection, then we all win.
